Exploring Myself

A couple of days ago, a friend asked me why a blog.

Later, I realized that many online and offline things around me are related to marketing in one way or another.

Who’s out there, even if only virtually, wants to sell you something, talking like they’re in a toothpaste commercial.

I got it now. The friend’s fundamental question was: how do you make money with it?

Anyway, I didn’t understand, so I replied: to explore myself.

After decades of deep relationship with television commercials, it’s now impossible for many not to speak like some advertisement. With fanfare loudly blowing from every tiny and microscopic window.
So many people are, frankly impossible to comprehend, extremely excited about something that has no real value (that does not improve anyone’s life, that does not improve society in any way, that does not express any overwhelming idea) like, let’s say, the latest camera model.

Everything is related to making money, and it’s understandable because money gives value to everything: more money, more value.
But it would be best if you didn’t let money determine your needs, pleasures, and behaviours; be you to establish the value of things and the value of yourself.

If you do what your ‘self’ really likes, you will achieve your goals successfully. Much of what precludes us from the “beautiful life” depends on the inability and the fear of seeing this simple fact.

Anyway, I write here in my spare time, which is pretty tiny—mostly to explore myself and hope this will be interesting to somebody else.
